He's written and starred in sketches for Herb and CBC Comedy, performed on JFL42, CBC LOL, NXNE, The Nubian Show and most recently opened for SNL's Chris Redd and Letterkenny's K. Trevor Wilson. |
Leonard Chan - Sunday, August 30, 2020
Leonard Chan is a writer/comedian from Toronto, Canada. As a comedian, he has been heard on CBC's The Debaters, Laugh Out Loud, and Sirius/XM radio, seen on stage at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Halifax Comedy Festival, JFL42, worked with Ronny Chieng, Rhea Butcher, and Joel Kim Booster, and was one of the New Faces at Just For Laughs in Montreal. He won the 2016 Absolute Comedy Prove You’re a Comic competition and the 2018 Comedy Brawl, besting 400 other comedians for the title. He was mentioned by CBC as one of the fifteen Canadian comedians to watch in 2019. As a writer, he has been published on CBC Comedy and the Beaverton, was one of five finalists selected for the CBC Originals Stand Up and Pitch contest at the Just For Laughs festival in 2018, and he wrote You Want It What Way: A Boy Band Tale which was recognized as one of the top shows at the 2019 Hamilton Fringe. He’s also spent a little time in the writer’s room for international TV hit Kim’s Convenience and currently has an original comedy in development with CBC. He has two degrees in chemical engineering which he now uses only as punchlines and an excessive (but still legal) number of cats. |

Nour is a Jordanian-born and Toronto-based comedian. She recorded a half hour special with Comedy Central Arabia in Dubai and has written for This Hour has 22 Minutes on the CBC, and The Beaverton on the Comedy Network. She was invited to perform at the prestigious Just for Laughs festival in Montreal in 2017 and 2018, as part of the Tiffany Haddish Gala and Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. She has appeared on the CBC hit radio show the Debaters multiple times. |

Rhiannon Archer, named one of “Six Hilarious Female Comedians You Don't Know Yet—But Should” By BitchMedia, she has been a part of many comedy festivals throughout North America such as JFL42, NXNE, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Dark Comedy Festival, Boston Women in Comedy and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. In addition, she has been nominated for 2 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Stand Up Newcomer and Best Comedy short, One Woman Show, which she wrote and starred. She lives in Toronto with her husband, 2 kids and 2 cats. She cannot do mathematics under pressure, enjoys mangos and dislikes mushrooms. |
